Not quite sugar plums, instead these are plumcots but because the pointy end of these hybridized apricots married to plums isn't on display I'll just call them 'Plums in Stainless'. This is another painting inspired by a visit to a local orchard where the owners grow many varieties of organic fruit.
I've always wanted to paint metals but I haven't had the occasion yet to do anything as large as the stainless bowl. Not quite sure if the reflected pinks are too bright, I'll live with it a few days before I change them or varnish.
