Phthalo blue green, cadmium yellow light, quinacridone magenta and titanium white are the only hues I used for this colour palette and what a range they make. Still lots of work to do: more leaves to paint, more veins to fill in, highlights and low lights, the finessing takes me the longest. You can see my little bead box of paints which I started in Patti Mollica's 'Fast, Loose and Bold' workshop in Carmel last October, my little homemade chart of colour possibilities with these 3 hues and white, colour wheel at the ready, a few brush favorites, a jar of Golden polymer and one of open medium. The light flows in, the hours pass--bliss!
