I found these tender young eggplants in our local supermarket and as soon as I spotted them, I knew I had to paint them. There are certain colour combinations that I like and green and purple is one of them. Propping them on a favourite, but faded Matisse-inspired tablecloth seemed just right.
Acrylic on 8 in. sq. deep wooden cradle board (1.5") and prepared from the finest materials. Ready to hang as cradleboard does not require framing. The sides are painted as a continuation of the design. Shipping and handling will be extra.
